Our Casa: Just the beginning

June 19th we broke ground on our new adventure. It has been a few months in the works. April is when we first discussed the option of looking for a little bigger home or building our own.  I know Jason has wanted to build his own home for awhile. (He used to build homes in Rexburg while going to school). I knew that is what he would rather do than buy. We did look online at few homes and realized it was actually cheaper to build right now for the same size of house as buying.

Next step was where.

We looked at a few neighborhoods. New and old. We picked the perfect neighborhood where we know quite a few people already, and where kids are running around constantly. We don't have that in our neighborhood now, so lots of neighbor kids was a main draw for us. We are so excited for this next step. We have loved our home now but as soon as we had Paxton we decided we needed a little more space for when little ones start running around. We closed on the lot on June 14 and it all began.
