4 months

For us to Remember. He turned 4 months yesterday. Pax has such a cute little personality. It's really starting to shine and it makes me smile from ear to ear. He gets shy when he smiles and buries his face in this elephant blanket. He is talking so much more now. Little baby chatter box. He is so content and I love being with him everyday.  He has changed me. Made me a better person. He loves bath time and is learning that kicking the water splashes his face. He is so smiley and is really starting to giggle more. He has discovered his toes and sucks on them. With help he can roll over. Maybe in a few weeks he'll have it down.

He loves to stand and loves me to blow on his belly and thighs. Still loves his changing table and still not the best at sleeping in a crib so we put him in his little yellow bed thingy. Loves sucking on his fingers (or try to suck on his whole fist).  He loves to be outside and look at leaves on trees.  He is still up once or twice a night. He now smiles at other kids.  I'm bummed I had to stop breastfeeding at 3 months, so he takes a bottle now.  Formula poo is way worse than non formula poo and I heard once they eat normal food then its even worse. I learned first hand this week as we have been babysitting our friends little girl who is a year and a half. Stinky poo poo for sure.

Some of his hair is going blond some areas are bald and some areas haven't lost any hair really. Right side has hair, left side almost bald.  He had rockin sideburns when he was born and the left side doesn't have it anymore. I just can't keep my lips off his cheeks and my arms from hugging him all the time. Jason is so in love with him too. I love watching the two of them together. Picture perfect.

* Pax had his 4 month check up on July 11th. It was a traumatic experience. He screamed bloody murder as soon as he saw the nurse. 30 minutes later he got the 2 shots. 40 min of screaming. He has a little ear infection but he hasn't been fussy about it. I didn't even know he had it. Poor guy. Slowly growing though. 40th percentile in height at 24 1/2 inches and 10th percentile in weight at a whopping 12.2 pounds!
