Update Overload

Soo a lot had happened in the past month and a half. The longer I go without updating the less i want to update due to how much happens. And i don't appreciate blogger now using html when uploading pictures. not fun for me.

now lets begin.

I Job searched for 2-3 months. not fun. Period. i became a little emotional sometimes about it. but we're blessed and i got a part-time job. Started on Monday, aka my birthday. good birthday present wouldn't you say? so that has been good. just training the next couple weeks. Before i found this job i started substitute teaching beginning of February. interesting but fun. everyday was a different challenge. i did 4th-12th graders. I had to file a sexual harassment form against a 4th grader. poor kid was probably suspended.
So i am Mrs. Lee for awhile. and will be Mrs. Lee on my days off from my better job.

I went to California beginning of February for a week with in-laws and Sister-in-laws. It was fun but missed Jason. That was the longest we've ever been apart. So it was a happy reunion. We went to Palm Springs, Vegas and St. George. Fun trip.

Then Valentines Day came a long which was awesome. Jason got me flowers which i always teased him about, cause i don't think i've ever gotten flowers in my life. daisies. my favorite. i love him. He also got me this:
Footie pajamas: he knows i'm always cold. these definitely help. :) and matching ones... for a little tyke someday haha it was hilarious.

Then my birthday. Sorry this post is about me so much. i'm a very selfish person obviously this time of year haha. thank you to our parents for birthday money. and jason for always loving me. Jason just told me what he got me :) really excited. it was delivered but they sent the wrong ones. golf clubs! i'm really excited to go with him. I got him a golf pass for v day so now i can go with him sometimes! thanks mom and dad for the flowers too. loved them.

we are busy with callings, as well, that we got in January. I teach 14-18 yr old sunday school which has been interesting and a learning experience for sure. I'm actually really starting to like it and i learn a lot preparing the lessons. jason is the elders quorum president and busy with meetings but last night i went and did visits with him and it was nice to meet and chat with people in our ward. blessed we are. count your blessings.

we've done updating in our house. so looks a lot better than the last pictures we posted. we got this nice cabinet from jason's work. it was a special order for a customer but was delivered to the store broken, so they couldn't sell it anymore. so jason's handy man skills fixed it up and looks better than new. we love it. I sanded and stained our cupboards in our kitchen so the white doesn't blind you when you look at them.

we love our fireplace. we've done s'mores and tin foil dinners with donny and tiff...fun. we light it almost every night and morning. jason loves chopping the wood out back. so cute. but we knew a fire accident was bound to happen. a month ago a log on fire rolled out of the fireplace onto the carpet. we thought that was funny to say the least. so last Satruday we bought a cage that goes in front so it wouldn't happen again. when we get home jason lights the fire and the bottle of lighter fluid caught on fire in jasons hand which made him flinch. lighter fluid (on fire) lit a strip of carpet on fire about 3 feet long. so we had to replace some of the carpet in our front room.

What adventures we've had. Can't wait to see whats next.
