about time...

It's been awhile but a lot has happened. Well we graduated on the 18th of December. The week of graduation my brother came home from his mission, and we moved into our house pretty much the day of graduation.

With most of the painting and big projects out of the way, we're finally a little relaxed and settled in. We love it here. We went to my house for Christmas and it was really laid back. Played wallyball and hung out with my family.

We also had our one year anniversary. All I wanted to do was go to Cafe Rio, and my dream came true because there is one in Twin Falls. We went to the temple and started a tradition. To do sealings on our anniversaries. I was sick and already had a high temp and hadn't eaten yet, so we didn't get to be in there too long before I got emotional and started having heat flashes. so we actually walked out of it. That night we went to Miracle Hot Springs by Twin Falls. It was really fun. Then we came back and got to eat our year old cake. yummy.

We really like our new ward, even though many old people occupy the congregation, but we're grateful to be in Donny and Tiff's ward. We actually live on their street as well. We just keep following them. But next we have to fight over the parents house on the river. Tiff-we should just build a duplex there. Sounds like a plan to me.
Anyway-in our ward we just got a new Bishopric. Donny is the Second counselor. He'll do awesome. We spoke today in sacrament. my 5th time speaking in a year an a half. i'm glad it'll be awhile hopefully till my turn comes around again. Our talks i think went well. I lost control of my emotions and the beginning of my talk and struggled to hold my composure the rest of my time. But jason did awesome. i left him with a half hour left. he used most of it which was good.

While preparing my talk i had a feeling I would have emotional issues actually presenting it but never got emotional practicing. I introduced jason and i and then started to cry as i introduced my topic of Love, and God's love for each of us. I was overcome with a feeling of love that took me by surprise as I couldn't speak for a few seconds. i struggled my whole talk. jason made me feel really good though. and we got lots of compliments, so hopefully it went ok. i saw an old lady crying and it made me smile. hopefully we touched some people.

We really excited to be in our new home. It feels like home now. here are a few pictures. and the pictures are before we had blinds by the way. Thanks to jason's parents for the furniture and blinds.

Great post Bria we had lots of fun reading it! We will have to come visit your new place soon it looks darling. We were going to stop by last week but we drove through Burley at 7 a.m. so we didn't want to wake you up. Love you!

I can't wait to see your new place! By the way.. I read your list of goals in life.. I was in Venice on my birthday. If you want to ride a gondola in Venice save up some money because it cost 90 euro, which is about $130 in America and go in the summer. The water was so choppy while we were there so we decided it wasn't worth our money. We would have gotten soaked worse than Splash Mountain!
